Funeral Service:

The departed should be a steward of the church for the current year, or the family should give a donation to the church.

$50 Cantor Fee

$30 Altar Assistant Fee

Clergy honoraria are customary but not required.

Memorial Services:

Please call the church office (314) 966-2255 to schedule memorials. Memorial services are traditionally chanted at 40 days; 3, 6, and 9 months; 1 year; then annually.

There is no charge for a memorial servce; however, a tray of Kolyva (boiled wheat) is required. You may prepare your own or Philoptochos can provide one for $60. Many families also choose to sponsor coffee hour in the church hall for an additional $75. Sponsoring coffee hour is optional.
